"So whether you eat or drink,
or whatever you do,
do it all for the glory of God."

  1 Cor. 10:31

Parish Ministry:

The Church of the Holy Paraclete was founded by the Little Brothers and Sisters of Jesus Caritas. The parish was established by bishops of the North American Old Catholic Church in August of 2009. The first Mass was held on 13 September 2009 with a small handful of parishioners. Since September, the parish has blossomed into a vibrant Independent Catholic community. On 11 October 2009, Br. Jakob-Lazarus, LBJC was ordained a priest and was assigned as the first pastor of the parish. In December of 2009, the Little Brothers and Sisters handed the parish over to a parish council to make communal decisions for the parish. The parish council is open for anyone who wishes to take a more active role in parish leadership. The Church of the Holy Paraclete declared itself autonomous on 17 May 2010 to assure that the Church of the Holy Paraclete is run by the parishioners and is protected as its own non-profit organization.

Future Endeavors:

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Luke 18:16-17

The Little Brothers and Sisters seek to find viable options for women with crisis pregnancies.

This is not a liberal or conservative issue, it is a human rights issue.  Women and children have become the ground for a political battle between Democrats and Republicans. This battle is unjust, leaving women and children as its casualties. While Christians must be for life, we approach the issue of unwanted pregnancy with compassion and understanding.

It is poverty for any woman to have to decide between the life of her child and the her ability to survive in society. We love and respect the dignity of the mother. It is poverty that our society spends billions of dollars on weapons but very little to support women and the family.  It is poverty when there are 3,700 abortions a day in the United States but a domestic private adoption cost as much as $40,000.

There is poverty in both the law and the mindset of society which would rather a woman destroy the life of her child than to help the mother.  It is poverty that society demoralizes women for unexpected pregnancies while the man stands free from blame. It is poverty that the pro-life movement would rather a child go parentless rather than have the child adopted by a loving single person or homosexual couple.

As Bl. Mother Theresa often said,"Please don't kill the child. I want the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted."

We will accept any child who would be aborted.

We love you. We love your baby. Let us help!

Goals:

  • We intend to work with the state government to reform adoption laws.
  • We intend to work with single people and the homosexual community in assisting them to get private adoptions at a reasonable cost.
  •  We intend to open an adoption agency for the homosexual community in the next 5 to 10 years in Providence, RI.
  • We intend to offer a holistic community of support for both women who have given their child to adoptive parents and for adoptive families.
